EARLY BIRD DEADLINE - JULY 21
UGA Turfgrass Research Field Day
The UGA Turfgrass Research Field Day will be August 4, 2010 in Griffin, GA. Since 2008, the last field day, the UGA Turf Team has improved their research facilities with a new turfgrass maintenance building and warm-season research putting green. You don't want to miss seeing these new facilities and the ongoing research. It will be one big day with acres of information!

Also on the website is an opportunity to register online, the best way to register you and your company. The preregistration fee is $50, same as 2008, with price breaks for groups of four or more. The early-bird deadline is July 21 so don't wait, go ahead and register. In Georgia, the field day has been approved for 5 hours of pesticide recertification credit in category 21, 4 hours in 24, and 2 hours for private. Also, pesticide recertification credits have been confirmed for NC and requested for AL, FL, SC, and TN. For golf course superintendents, the field day has been approved for 0.3 education points.
