Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging is a competitive judging contest where 4-H’ers learn about cotton as an agriculture commodity in our state as well as to promote cotton through commercials or advertisements. 4-H’ers gain skills in making rational decisions when purchasing goods and services while maximizing resources.

This is a competitive judging team where 4-H’ers learn how to be savvy consumers and the importance of cotton to Georgia’s economy.

Meeting Dates and Time: Wednesdays from August 30 - October 25, 2023, 6:00-7:00 pm

Competition Date: Monday, October 30th (You will receive a school excuse form – per the law, all educational 4-H events count as an educational field trip and the 4-H'er must be counted as present).

Grades: 4th-12th

Location: Fayette County Extension Office Room 210

Cost: Free
