Be Prepared, Georgia! Disaster Resources for Seniors, People with Disabilities and Pet Owners Released by the US Department of Homeland Security

Whether an emergency is weather related or the result of a terriorist act, all Americans can take certain steps to be prepared. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Ready Campaign has released three new demonstration videos designed to highlight the specific steps older Americans, individuals with disabilities and special needs, and pet owners should take to prepare for emergencies. These new resources join the Ready America video that is also available. These videos along with print materials can be downloaded from the ready.gov website. There are also materials for businesses and for children. Take a look at the following resources as we move toward hurricane season.
