Meet Our ANR Agent - Campbell Vaughn

Campbell Vaughn was born in Augusta and graduated high school from Augusta Prep in 1990. Campbell earned a Bachelors of Science of Agriculture at UGA in 1994. He worked in corporate sales for 7 years in Atlanta with Georgia Pacific and Bellsouth. Then he went back to UGA for a Landscape Architecture degree and graduated with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. After graduating from UGA for a second time, Campbell moved back to Augusta and opened his own Landscape Architecture business called Campbell Vaughn Design Group, specializing in residential redesign.

Most issues and identifications can be diagnosed with good photos. Once Campbell or Suzanne has your photos and questions, they will be able to assist you. Follow our easy-to-follow instructions to take proper photos for diagnosis.

  • May 28 Backyard Small Ruminants 101 Have you been considering getting goats or sheep but are not sure where to start? Let's get your backyard small ruminant journey started on the right foot. Oconee County Extension will be hosting a 2-day workshop on the basics of backyard small ruminants. Meeting dates will be Tuesday, 5/28 and Thursday, 5/30 at the Oconee County Extension Office from 6-7:30PM. Registration will cover both days so you'll only have to pay the $20 fee once! A light dinner will be provided. Participants will also receive a gift to help them start their backyard small ruminant journey.   • May 30 UGA Extension Henry County Category 41 Mosquito Control Training University of Georgia Extension Henry County is offering a webinar to help prepare those who are planning to take the Georgia Pesticide Applicator Licensing Exam in Category 41 Mosquito Control to pass it. The workshop will cover ONLY the Mosquito Control section and NOT the Core Manual (General Standards). For those of you who already have the license, five pesticide applicator recertification credits will be offered in Category 41 Mosquito Control.   • Jun 3 2024 Equine Exchange: Behavior and Training The Equine Exchange is a monthly webinar that has provided practical equine management information for horse owners since 2022.   • Jun 13 Lunch & Learn - Armadillos: Friend or Foe? Camden County ANR Agent, Jessica Warren, offers virtual lunch and learn courses in 2024. Classes were originally scheduled once a month, but due to time constraints and scheduling issues, programs will now be offered once a quarter. Classes offered 2024: Common House Plant Problems; Building Soil Health; Armadillos: Friend or Foe?; Stormwater Mgt. in the Home Landscape; and Owls. Continue to register for classes of interest and a notice will be sent at a later date when topics are rescheduled: Frogs of Georgia; Unsung Pollinators; Unique Edible Plants for Georgia and North Florida; Common Insect Pests of the Home Garden; Native Asters; Spiders Among Us; Permaculture Basics.
